Sängynpeitto - Bed blanket

Tässä on kuvia Helmin ja Vilhon sänkyyn neulotusta päiväpeitosta. Lankana käytin Vennen puuvillalankaa, joka on liukuvärjättyä. Kokeilin erilaisia kuvioita neuloessani peittoa.


Here are pictures of Helmi´s and Vilho´s bed and knitted bedspreads. Vennen cotton thread I used the yarn. I tryed different textures knitting coverage.

Mietin nimiä mummolle ja papalle. Tuli mieleeni aika, kun olin hoidossa ennen koulun alkua 1960-luvulla. Ensimmäinen hoitaja oli Helmi mummo ja hänen miehensä nimi oli Vilho. Heidän muistoksi alakerran pariskunta on nimeltään Helmi ja Vilho Kivelä.

Vilho lukee lukee uuden pizzerian ruokalistaa, joka on avattu lähistöllä. Helmi mietiskelee ja katselee käsityötään. Yksi tyyny on jo valmis ja toinen on melkein valmis.

Paljon puuttuu vielä makuuhuoneesta enkä ole vielä varma huonekalujen järjestyksestä. Tässä kuitenkin kuvia tämän hetkisestä tilanteesta. Viimeisessä kuvassa on myös talon uusi asukki Berninpaimenkoira, Santtu.

I wonder names for grandma and papalle. Came to mind the time when I was in childcare prior to the start of the school in the 1960s. The first nurse was Helmi, grandmother and her husband's name was Vilho. Their memory of the couple on the ground floor is called Helmi and Vilho Kivelä.

This carpet is now extraordinary. Carpet length is 22 cm and a width of 5.3 cm. The mat is still low among the missing from the bottom of the white color. I could do swap change with this carpet, then sell the second exchange, or if the swap is not interested.


Tässä vielä kaksi tyynyä, kaikkiin on käytetty lankana Vennen puuvillalankaa ja pohjakankaana on aida-kangas. Ruusu on oma malli ja toisen tyynyn malli on DollsHouse and Miniature Scene-lehdestä, jossa on joka kerta virkkaus-, neulonta- sekä ristipisto-ohje. Myös erilaisiin huonekaluihin löytyy ohjeet ja mallit joka lehdessä.

Nyt on lomat pidetty ja arkinen aherrus alkaa...
Vietin pitkästä aikaa kesälomaa ja osaksi loma muuttui pakolliseksi lääkärin määräämänä. Käsitöitä en ole paljon ehtinyt tehdä. Edellisen postauksen maton sain valmiiksi ja aloitin seuraavaan kerrokseen uudella kuviolla mattoa pistelemään.

Innostuin välillä tekemään ristipistomattoa. Yläkertaan tulee neljät rappuset ja ajattelin niihin tehdä matot. Pohjakankaan olen ostanut Kirjokkaasta ja lankana on Vennen puuvillalanka Doloreksesta. Malliin on otettu mallia netistä ja osaksi on omaa suunnittelua.

Nyt kesällä on niin paljon muutakin tekemistä, että talo edistyy melko hitaasti. Paljon on kaikenlaisia ideoita mielessä, mutta täytyy laittaa jäitä hattuun. =O) Omaa joulukalenteriakin mietin, kun niitä on jo joissakin blogeissa, mutta hmm...


I painted staircase to a dark brown, but the color was too dark, so now they are yellow. We will see whether this is the final color.

Naapurin tädin, Selman, kesämekko -To neighbor´s aunt, Selma, summer dress

Tilasin PeeKaa tuotteesta kukkakankaita. Ompelin käsin Selmalle kesämekon ohuesta keltaisesta puuvillakankaasta. Pitsi on tilattu Doloreksesta.

I ordered from PeeKaa tuote floral fabrics. I sew by hand to Selma summer dress from thin yellow cotton fabric. Lance is from Dolores.

Nojatuoli mummolle ja papalle - Armchair to grandma and grandpa

Tämä nojatuoli on tehty Linjurin ohjeita mukaellen. Tuoli runko on ohutta vaneria. Pehmuste on fleecehuopaa. Päällyskangas on puuvilla kangasta.

Kyllä oli harjoittelua tuolin teko. Ensimmäinen päällyskangas ompeluni oli ihan liian suuri. jouduin muuttamaan kankaan kasaus järjestystä ihan. Se on osaksi ommeltu ja osaksi liimattu. Saumoihin on vielä tulossa vihreää nauhaa.

Mummo ja pappa vaikuttavat tyytyväisiltä tuoliin. Tuolin paikka tulee olemaan makuuhuoneessa. Lukulampun olen ostanut Wooperilta.


This armchair is made with Linjuri´s instructions. The chair frame is thin plywood. Padding is fleecefelt. Coatfabric is cotton.

Yes it was the training of man-made chair. The first sewing coatfabric was just too big. I have had to alter the fabric pile order quite. It is partly sewn and glued into. Joints is still coming to the green ribbon.

Grandma and grandpa appear to be satisfied with a chair. The chair seat will be a bedroom. Chapter lamp I bought from Wooper.

Ruokia nukkekotiin - Food in the doll house

Olen jo kauan ihaillut Tellun blogissa olevia ruokia. Kyselin oisko Tellu tulossa Lahden markkinoille, mutta ei. Sitten keksin ratkaisun, tilasin Doloreksesta astiat ja ne postitettiin Tellulle. Annoin Tellulle vapaat kädet tehdä ruokia oman makunsa mukaan. Katsokaa mitä ihania ruokia sain tänään postitse. Kyllä nukketalon porukan kelpaa, ei ainakaan tule nälkä. Livenä nämä ruoat ovat paljon paremman näköisiä. Kannattaa kysyä Tellulta. =O)

I have long admired Tellu´s blog in food. I asked if Tellu was coming to Lahti the market, but no. Then we got a solution, I ordered from Dolores containers and these were mailed to Tellulle. Tellulle gave free rein to do dishes to suit her taste. Look what the wonderful dishes I got today by mail. Yes, a doll-house people, at least not be hungry. Live on these foods are much better looking.
